Ballet Shoes DVD

Adapted from the much loved novel by Noel Streatfield, this timeless and uplifting classic tells the story of orphans Pauline, Petrova and Posy, who are adopted by eccentric explorer, Gum (Richard Griffiths) and raised by his niece, Sylvia (Emilia Fox). Each of the girls has big dreams - Pauline longs to be an actress, Petrova wants to be an aviator, while Posy seems born to be a ballerina. When Gum doesn't return from an expedition, the family's money runs out and their dreams are put aside while they fight to survive. It's only when an unexpected opportunity arises to join the theatre that the girls discover their special talents which takes them on a magical and moving adventure.
